  • As an NRA instructor, I can tell you there is a great emphasis on safety. NRA's Eddie Eagle program teaches young kids what to do if they see a gun. I have no problem requiring training of gun owners.

  • Oh yeah, forgot to mention... NO matter the PROJECTIONS from last year, more people are out of work = reduced tax revenue. Property values are falling like water off a cliff = reduced tax revenue. People are working with pay cuts = less buying = less tax.

  • I read, in this thread, comments comparing health care to some of the laws that we live by every day.... saying that since those government rules were good ones, this one may be a good one too.

  • Do we need change? Yeah, we do but this is not the way to do it. The government has never, never shown fiscal responsibility. If they need more money, they just print it. If we tried that tact, we'd be thrown in jail. It's NOT the government's job to take care of us.
